Music Monday!!

I love love it when other bloggers post "Music Mondays" I have tons of favorite music but I think I'm going to start exploring what else is out there. Just recently I've been into the Ting Tings, probably because one of my favorite songs to dance to on Just Dance 2 for the Wii is by the Ting Tings... Anyways have a good Monday and let your ears enjoy this delightful song!

Help! I need some sunshine...

Maybe its lack of Vitamin D, or this nasty cold that keeps hanging on, but I feel so down in the dumps! I feel like I'm stuck in a rut with no way of getting out... I'm tired of feeling this way so sunshine shine on me! Please!

Change begins within, and with no chance of warm weather coming and taking all this depressing snow away I must make my own happiness. So I'll start with things that make me happy!

1. Alex: Annoying and "man dumb" most of the time but he makes me very happy. Hes the only person I know that wakes up EVERYDAY with a smiling face and I'd like to think that's because of me :)

2. Hello Kitty: Ok this may make my OCD happy but anytime I see something HK I truly believe it was placed in that mall, or store, for me and only me! I'm constantly associated with everything HK and I'm ok with that cause shes always happy... or is she? With no mouth its hard to figure out exactly what HK is feeling... sometimes I wish I had no mouth...

3. Home: It may not be much to anyone besides Alex and I, but to us its our place to relax, have fun with friends, eat good, be stupid, be smart, be lazy, be us! I do go crazy when I don't end the day at home its the only place that feels warm.

I could go on and on about things that make me happy, I do have several, but on cold days like this its best to focus on my favorite things that make me most happy. So I'm going to cross my fingers and pray real hard everyday that this snow goes away and sunshine finally starts to brighten my days!

Lil' Pockets

I've been keeping very busy lately with work, more snow, having a cold, and sewing! Made these lil' pockets by sandwiching 2 pieces of fabric together with some fusible interfacing turning them right side out a little velcro and a big button and viola' insist lil' pocket for whatever you need!

These are so cute and I love that I can use up scraps to make these lil' pockets. I drew up the pattern myself and thought about making a little larger for those bigger items I need space for


Found these cute little erasers on sale at Walmart. Way to cute to actually use I thought they were perfect for my printers box.

Well I'm off to a NyQuil induced acoma for at least 9 hours...

Baby Fever?!

OK, so I may have a little case of "baby fever" but I'm trying to keep that urge down with beer. Seriously though, Alex and I are both feeling that were ready to raise a little offspring of our own, so you never know what this year will bring! I've been snooping around "baby blogs" lately and came across this website, Top Baby Blogs there are some seriously cute babies out there!

I'm pretty sure when we decided to have a baby his or her room is going to kick-ass.
